MOM'S PEACH COBBLER



1/4 c butter
1/2 c sugar
1 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c milk
1 small can (or pint) peaches

Mix butter, salt, flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add milk and mix. Pour into a square greased pan. Drain peaches (save juice) and place on the top of the cake mixture. Sprinkle with sugar (I use about 1/4 cup) and slowly pour juice over the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and not runny in the middle.
