SLOW COOKER BEEF CHILI
This was submitted by Jenn. I had some when I was home last and it was DELISH.
12-16 servings
1 or 2 lb stew meat chopped into small pieces
1 diced onion
2 T. Chili powder
1 T. Seasoning salt
2 tsp. ground cumin
½ tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dried oregano
2 16-oz cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 28-oz can diced tomatoes (blended for Gordy)
1 12-oz can tomato paste
4 cups chicken broth (I use bullion)
Brown beef and onions in skillet, 2-3 minutes. Place beef and onion in crock pot; add
remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for 6 hrs or high heat
for 3-4.
